Montrail

Eric Sheckler, the art director, was an old friend from Publicis and was nice enough to invite me to collaborate with him on a Montrail shoe catalog and dealer kit. The client specialized in shoes for trail running, hiking, and mountain climbing. We plenty of great photography to work with, and Eric was interested in layers of wood, paper and old maps.

I had a lot of creative freedom, this project was actually a lot of fun. I built up the various layers in each piece, and moved them around until I found the best fit.
