2005 Seattle International Film Festival

I was hired by the Wong Doody agency for production duties on the 2005 Seattle International Film Festival. Worked closely with brilliant art director Pam Fujimoto on various eccentric illustrations for the posters, banners, print ads and other collateral. (My imagery ended up in video bumpers that were shown before films at the theaters!)

I still remember the initial meeting, because her image concepts were so wonderfully eccentric. I love imagery treasure hunts like this.

She was looking for a very specific, very subtle painterly style, and it was a bit of a challenge to achieve the look, but definitely worth the effort. Great color and texture, and obviously the final images are pretty compelling.
