This was a digital collage submitted to Contemporary Collage Magazine for their “Trains, Planes & Automobiles” challenge.
I enjoyed this one; It wasn’t a deep concept, and it was a fun image search. The Seattle Public Library has an amazing image library at their main downtown location, and I did find these train images there. That airliner on the left was colored in Photoshop, along with the couple on the road, and the endless highway image. I love this blue station wagon.
As always, I looked at a few Rauschenberg pieces for layout guidance.
