SanMar

I work at SanMar now, I’ve been there five years. They are a business-to-business clothing distributor, with thousands of customers all over the country. I work in a dark corner of the marketing department, where I do retouching and composite work on all of their catalogs, brochures and social media. I work on a huge variety of studio, lifestyle and product shots.

They have their own photo studio, and some the product shots are very elaborate. It’s my job to clip everything out for color correction, and add logo art. Quite often I have to fill in wall and floor texture.

Some of the lifestyle shots also need some manipulation. In this last image I replaced the bags with a set from another shot with a better angle, and covered a lot of wrinkles on her jacket.
