If you like hot rods, burlesque, drive in movies, go go girls, cool rock ‘n’ roll and cold refreshments – (who doesn’t?) – join us in Georgetown for Hot August Nights on Friday and Saturday, August 17 and 18.

The action begins on Friday, August 17 with the Little Black Devil Burlesque Extravaganza at the MIX at 6006 12th Ave. S. with lovely young ladies shake, rattle, and rollin’ to live music by Kissing Potion and Hard Nail Boot. Admission is only $5 for patrons 21 and over with valid ID. The spectacle continues at 5:00 PM on Saturday at the Georgetown Trailer Park at 947 S. Doris St. with a hot rod rally, live music, and drive in movie. A rock ‘n’ roll show by Dead Man and the F-Holes with go go dancers will be followed by an outdoor screening of the existential masterpiece “Two-Lane Blacktop” featuring James Taylor, Dennis Wilson, and Warren Oates. Hop in your vintage vehicle and head down to Georgetown before sunset on Saturday, August 18. The event is free and open to all ages.
